If you have not yet checked out Stephen Colbert's lampooning of the Washington Press and Mr. Bush at the White House Correspondents Dinner, you should right now.

Reel Estate

Wow, is this a bad television ad. As a person currently in the process of buying a house, I can say that a bully of a wife and a scheming real estate agent are exactly what I am glad I do not have to deal with during what is an unavoidably stressful time. Scary. Another great reason for TiVo.

Dusting Off the Pixies

Working late and listening to Bossanova on headphones. It’s like intravenous drugs. Doolittle is next, then Surfer Rosa—I’ve got ’em lined up like M&Ms.

Trailing Zimbabwe in Civil Rights

The Zimbabwean government is busy enacting a law to allow it to eavesdrop on the telephone conversations and e-mails of its citizens. It's kind of like the US, but with a twist: in Zimbabwe, they are required to have a court order spy on their people.
