Tad Hills: Duck and Goose
Obviously people don't want to share, they have to learn to share. The distinction is what keeps this book from sticky sweetness. The illustrations are simple and engaging, and it's funny enough to keep a parent from rotating it to the high shelf. (****)

This is the most charming children's book I've read in a long time. Actually, it's a compilation, and it has a great format: short stories in groups of five, so at bedtime you can read as much or as little as you like. (*****)
I was trying to think of something funny to say about this, but the problem is that this product
represents a very real form of child abuse, which is hard to joke about.
Since God apparently isn't defending these children from their parents, maybe CPS should get involved.

Attention parents (and Bible scholars): don't worry. It looks like they filtered out a lot of the rape, misogyny, slavery, racism, genocide, murder, prostitution, incest, polygamy, pornography, cannibalism, sexual mutilation, fratricide, patricide, infanticide, and coprophagy.
