Who's the Nerd Now?!

That's right—two of my least-appreciated skills finally achieved synergy: my well-documented ability to write a killer haiku, and my lesser-known (until now) propensity for lurking on the sites of web gurus, hoping to learn to build awesome web sites without (horror!) actually asking any questions. I won an online haiku contest! Take that, cool kids!

I must say, I'm rather proud of my winning entry: an example of the apotheosis of the ironic haiku, to my mind: the coveted three-worder! Plus, I've scored some sweet swag. Check out the two winning entries here.

Thanks to Mike, and thanks to the other entrants. Congratulations to the other winner, Isaac Lin.

Oh, and the, um—design—of my site? I'm, uh...working on it.

Haha, Congrats on winning that haiku contest, yours was significantly more deserving than mine. I think our sites have a little more in common. I too lurk the design guru sites hoping that they don't come across mine any time soon.

Cheers.
